World Hearing Day 2021

Home Lifts for our hearing impaired customers

World hearing day has been celebrated every year on the 3rd March since 2016, previous to World Hearing Day, International Ear Care day was celebrated from 2007. The World Health Organisation created this day to raise awareness of hearing loss and promote actions towards the prevention and hearing care.

The theme of this year is ‘Hearing care for all! Screen. Rehabilitate. Communicate.’ This theme aims highlight the number of people living with undressed hearing loss and ear diseases. It is important that everyone understands that good hearing and communication are important at all stages of life and hearing loss can be prevented by actions such as avoiding loud noises, taking care when listening to music and having your hearing tested regularly, especially if you work in human resources, if you are a musician or if you are a higher risk due to hereditary reasons.
